SPONSORSHIP 2019 COLIN PLIT
While most of you know that I am the editor of our club magazine, I am also responsible for sponsorship.
It’s not only my responsibility to find sponsors, but I also handle the sponsorship agreements and most importantly, with the assistance of the other committee members, the on-going relationship with the sponsors, to make sure that not only do they deliver on whatever cash, products and services they offer the club, but that they receive from us the branding, exposure and opportunity to market their products and services to our members.
We never disclose our membership details, but invite them to interact with our members in person at the clubhouse and events, and through our social media, being the magazine, web page, Facebook and Instagram.
The sponsorship money we receive is used for :
Repairs & maintenance of the clubhouse
Marketing and advertising
Subsidising membership fees
Subsidising events
Social responsibility initiatives
